The Arbitration (Amendments) Law No. 16 for the Year 2018 has been published on May 2nd 2018 in the Official Gazette No. 5513 on Page 2316.
The new Arbitration (Amendments) Law No. 16 for the Year 2018, which is to be read in conjunction with the Arbitration Law No. 31 for the Year 2001, will come in force on June 2nd 2018. Disputes currently adjudicated before the courts and arbitration tribunals will not be affected by the new law, as the new law will only apply to disputes referred to the courts and arbitration tribunals after the law has came into force.
